In September 2001, HardSteel was launched with 2 primary goals:

• To manufacture and distribute top quality products that would help customers solve abrasion problems.
• To offer world-class customer service by doing whatever it takes to provide solutions in a timely manner.

HardSteel’s staff will take time to ask all the necessary questions to help customers make the best wear solution decision. They will take time to answer questions so that customers are confident that the proper solution is being used. They will provide design and installation assistance where needed. They often work after normal closing time or weekends to meet customer’s critical needs. They carefully check each aspect of the job to assure quality products are delivered timely. They arrange discounted common carrier rates, hot-shot services or deliver themselves to meet customer deadline. When unusual materials or hard-to-find services are required, the HardSteel staff will spend whatever time it takes to find what you need.

HardSteel uses prime A-36 carbon steel, Corten, 300 series stainless for base plates. Our hardfacing wire is custom designed for HardSteel to provide the very best wear protection available currently. Our chemists and metallurgists keep HardSteel on the forefront of hardfacing technology. HardSteel HSWP, HS400 and HS500 are purchased only from mills with excellent reputations that provide the quality HardSteel mandates.

This willingness to put our customer’s needs first has helped retain our very first customers while we continue to add new customers each week. This attention to the customer has allowed HardSteel to provide HS650 Chromium-carbide overlay plate to all corners of the United States, Canada, Latin America, South America, the Middle East and Asia.
