HardSteel offers two ceramics solutions where abrasion exists but impact is not an issue.
Plain/Weldable Ceramics (HS Ceramics)
Where impact is not an issue, HS Ceramic linings offer excellent wear protection. HardSteel produces ceramic-lined pipe, reducers, elbows, cones and chutes. HSCeramics may be attached by welding, bolting, or using of silicone or tile adhesive. HSCeramics offer excellent abrasion resistance and can be used in environments where operating temperatures are as high as 2300 degrees (F). HSCeramics are available in thicknesses from ¼” to 2”.

HS Ceramics are also available as hex tiles attached to a 6” X 6” webbing. This allows much more flexibility in installation. HS Ceramics hex tiles are available in 1/8”, 1/4” and 1/2” thick.

Vaccuum Bonded Ceramics (HS VB Ceramics)
Where moderate impact is present, HS VB Ceramics are available to offer protection. These thin alumina ceramic tiles are applied with the strongest bond available. This allows these lightweight HS VB Ceramics to ensure the longest life possible.
