Tim Olive and Larry Williams have recently returned from Minexpo 2008 where HardSteel was one of the 1,287 companies from around the world that exhibited.  Minexpo was also used to introduce HardSteel's newest product - 1/8 on 1/8 overlay plate.  Although this new product was developed specifically for a one of our customers for an application at a coal-fired generation plant, it received a lot of attention at Minexpo 2008.  It was exciting to see how many people were interested in a lightweight version of our wear plate.  "Even though people enjoyed talking about the big trucks and loaders at the show, there is certainly a demand for this product," reported Tim.
